RGS achieves best results ever

Students at The Rochester Grammar School are celebrating record results this summer. The A Level and IB results were exceptional producing the schools best ever performance with 85% of grades A*-B.

Three students gained their places at Oxford and Cambridge: Alex Hall to study PPS at Cambridge, Samantha Briggs to study Geography at Cambridge and Philipa Kiralfy to study History & Politics at Oxford. Over three quarters of students gained their first choice university places.

Other notable achievements included five students achieving 3 A* grades: Harpreet Baht; Kayleigh Jessop; Laura Phillips; Sneha Verma and Matthew Howsam. In addition an incredible 28% of students achieved 3 or more A*/A grades this year and over two thirds of students achieved at least 1 A*/A grade.
