Sixth Form students at The Rochester Grammar School were celebrating on Saturday as they received their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma results.
Students take the IB as an academic alternative to A Levels studying six subjects at either Higher or Standard level. As a group they achieved an average diploma point score of 37 points, the equivalent of three A* and one A at A Level.
Students are now looking forward to beginning the next stage of their careers at some of the country’s leading universities including Imperial College London, Edinburgh University, The Royal Veterinary College and Durham University.
Mr S Gardner, Principal, commented “These are fantastic results for our students and I am delighted that all their hard work and effort has been so spectacularly rewarded.”
