Year 11 students at The Rochester Grammar School were celebrating fantastic results today.

68% of grades awarded to students this year were A* or A (including equivalents). Over half of students achieved 10 or more A*/A grades and 83% of students achieved 5 or more A*/A grades. 99.5% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths.

12 students achieved 10 A* grades or more: Madison Goring; Julia Selgrad; Amy Campbell; Bethany Dryden; Louise Tasker; Lauren Miles; Morgan Morris; Emily Mepsted; Megan Haughey; Hazel Woolmer; Lauren Walji and Georgina Bunker.
The government uses a best 8 measure of results and this year RGS students achieved an average best 8 result of 435 points this is the equivalent to 5 A’s and 3 A*’s at GCSE and is a fantastic achievement.

Mr Gardner, Principal, commented “This is another fantastic set of results for RGS students and I am delighted that they have achieved so well. These excellent overall results are the combination of many individual successes and achievements and it is these individual successes that really matter. The students have worked very hard with their teachers in order to fulfil their potential and they fully deserve these excellent results. Well done!”
