Students at the Rochester Grammar School are enjoying another successful year of results. They achieved outstanding grades in their A2 and International Baccalaureate examinations and have secured places at some of the most prestigious universities in the UK and overseas.
For three consecutive years, over 80% of all grades have been at A*-B with students this year achieving an impressive 85% A*-B grades. One in five students attained A*-A in all of their subjects and four out of five attained a combination of A*-B across the board. Half of all grades were at A* or A.
Four students have been successful in securing Oxbridge/Ivy League places. Cealach McKeating who achieved the maximum 45 points in the IB will be reading History at Oxford, with Alice Baldock joining her to read English and History. Lucy Warway will be going to Cambridge to read Law and Vanessa Phan will be heading to the USA to study Economics at Princeton, an Ivy League university.
