School Fundraiser – Wednesday 19th December
As a result of feedback from the student body our student School Council has put forward the idea of a whole school fundraiser to raise money to create a new outdoor, undercover seating area. This would be a large area that students would be able to go at break and lunch to purchase food from a snack shack and to eat their lunch.
On Wednesday 19th December the student Executive Officer team have organised a 2 hour ‘Just Dance’ sponsorship event. The whole school will participate in learning a routine choreographed by the Executive Officers and the whole school will perform this routine and other dances over the 2 hours.
Students are being asked to raise sponsorship money for participating in this event. Of course all students will be able to take part in this fun end of term event with or without sponsorship, but I would like to assure you that all funds raised will go towards the School Council’s vision for the student recreation area.

I would like to thank you for your support of this student project and I hope your daughter/son enjoys the fundraising event.

Rochester Grammar School has a long history of success at high level in Sport, however the needs of the school have now outstripped the current facilities and the School is looking to develop existing facilities to be used as a useful resource to both the School and local community.
A sports hall in line with Sport England specification will allow for all weather sport provision at the school, and a community entrance will allow this facility to benefit also local sport and recreational clubs.
