Students at Rochester Grammar School celebrate after another year of impressive GCSE results

Time to celebrate for students at Rochester Grammar School after they achieve another set of exceptional results in their GCSE exams.

The School said that students have worked tirelessly to make excellent progress and have excelled themselves, for which they should be extremely proud.

Over 61% of all grades were a 7 or above. Maths and English grades were outstanding, with 61% achieving a grade 7 or above in Maths, 64% achieving grade 7 or above in English Language and 70% achieving a grade 7 or above in English Literature. There were also stand out results in subjects including Biology, History, PE and Psychology which all had more than half of their grades as 8s and 9s.

It has been inspiring to see the students succeed and the School is thrilled to celebrate a number of standout individual performances. A huge congratulations to the four students who all achieved the amazing feat of Grade 9s in 12 GCSEs and the top grade in Creative iMedia, including;

  • Snehaa Banerjee
  • Neah Haque
  • Sanjana Santhosh

Special mentions to Shravani Sadalkaar who was the highest performer nationally in Creative iMedia, as well as Banita and Charlotte (pictured) who achieved 11 grade 9s and 11 8s and 9s respectively.

These impressive GCSEs results follow on from the School’s recent success in this year's International Baccalaureate Diploma results. Rochester Grammar School strives to provide a broad and balanced education for their students, supporting the Thinking Schools Academy Trust’s commitment to “transform life chances.”
